'''Ascendancy''' was started by [[Rob]] and [[Jester|jesterina]] in late [[round 15]] with the aims of breaking as many conventions about how alliances should be run as possible. Ascendancy won [[round 16]]. None of them are decent people - preferring to insult everyone they can. Ascendancy players are parasites on the game and are in a perpetual stage of circle-jerking each other off, but hey, some of them are allegedly decent people despite evidence to the contrary.

Joined Planetarion towards the end of Round 1.
Was a member, and HC of European Legion ([[EL]]) for several rounds, before disbanding.</p>
<p>From there he was in [[FAnG]], before leaving in protest at their abuse of channel notices,spam in defence call situations, and general immaturity to instead join [[Wolfpack]] where he enjoyed his stay until the time he was drafted into [[PAteam]] which forced him to leave them.</p>
<p>Before this he was a member of the Support and Multihunting teams, before ending up managing both.</p>
<p>During his stay in [[PATeam]] he coded some tools to help the multihunters do their job more effectively, with a net result of more cheaters being caught then were before.</p>
<p>Finally, as time took its toll, Phil^ decided to retire from PATeam on 14th May 2005, in order to spend more time with [[Aryn]] in Canada.</p>
<p> Returning to PA for a few rounds, Phil^ played with [[1up]] until they disbanded - where he retired from the game once more.</p>
From then on he carried on to further solidify his reputation of being a literal brick wall in terms of ability to comprehend on various parts of PA Forums.
