Started to play [[Planetarion]] in round 4. Joined [[IPC]], what was one of the best places for a newbie to start from. In round 5 joined [[hirr]]. Spent time there untill round 10, also known as PAX. Joined the ranks of [[Dragons ]], but while being in a [[Elysium]] BG called Friends and Foes joined [[Elysium]] . After that skipped a round, and returned in round 11 and joined [[Insomnia]]. When [[hirr]] announced their comeback, then followed the call of lemmings, and joined em again.

The correct spelling is [[hirr]] - all lowercase. Sadly the wiki software doesn't cope that well with this, therefore the title of this page is wrong.

hirr was an alliance that originally started from a group of Norwegian Action Quake 2 players, calling themselves the Action Alliance (AA). AA started out in round two, and remained unnoticed and peaceful for some light years, and preferred it that way. Until once upon a day this core of fanatic gamers decided to have a little crazy-style fun by suiciding on [[The Edge]], a big player at the time. Needless to say all the attackers died horribly, and the myth around the lemmings was born. For more info about this, you should read about the [[lemming run|lemming runs]].

hirr will never be remembered as a top alliance, because quite simply, it wasn't. People however often refer to them as the alliance that 'played the game the right way'. hirr mainly played for fun, ofcourse lemmings would not waste hours of time playing a game if they did not want to do well. Throughout the past rounds, hirr has faced a lot of different HCs, and during the last round hirr played ([[Round 10]]), there was not an original founder of hirr left playing, and only one original HC and a handful of the original members. Most of the 'old hirr crew' quit after [[round 4]], which can be described as hirr's best round (even though there weren't great rankings to back it up, back then).

During its time, hirr never had any major role in the great scheme of things or in the political play, they've been found allying [[New Dawn]] for quite some rounds and just have fun, lemmings and ponies together.

hirr these days, however not playing [[planetarion]] as an [[alliance]] anymore, is still a very active community with their own messageboard and corperation in EVE-online (hirr corp).

hirr has announced its [http://pirate.planetarion.com/showthread.php?t=184307 return to Planetarion (R13)].
The return was for one round only. After the [[lemming run|lemming run]] on Sjor they silently disapeared from universe. Hopefully we will hear more about them again in future.
