New page

''' IT'S SPY-CITY!'''

We're
back! Nastier than ever and totally ungrounded in reality. Believe
all reports at your own risk. We DO make an effort to verify news
but of course... sometimes the informants themselves are missing the
real action. SPY NEWS IS REPORTED 100% BY PLAYERS, NOT PA STAFF OR
CREW. We have a few slots open for well-placed players who want to
report on what is going on in the world of alliances... but we will
not publish malicious reports, slander or any specific news that would
endanger individual player's positions in the game. Apply to guardian@planetarion.com.

A'''gent 005-Snooper'''
A few hour are left before the bell rings, it
is clearer then ever that this round will clearly not look like the
previous ones, at least for one reason : instead of triads, huge multi
alliances are facing. On the left corner, the WTF ( Wolpack, Tuba,
Legion, Fury, Virus). On the right corner of the ring, NoCex & allies
(Nos, Cell and Xanadu, Gii, Mi & Templar). Even before the round started,
everybody knew that it would be a match to death. But rumors say than
Xanadu, (which was the strongest alliance of NoCex last round), has
far less members, due to the PtoP system. It would had suffer more
than it's allied alliances. Time will say, but people well informed
already know for sure that NoCex has recruted heavily and is now looking
for more allies. Reborn has received several solicitations to stand
by them.

'''Agent 017-DNA'''
Who is the mysterious D/A leading the alliance rankings at the moment?
Aquired information states that it is the joint effort and merger
of an underground alliance and a very open alliance. These alliances
may have not been so well known last round, but are making their presence
felt this round at an early stage.

'''Agent 012-LexL'''
After fears of a possible merge Tokra and Armada
are now just extremely close allies. They share a joint chan and now
an integrated forum is currently being set up. Could this mean we
can see lots from Tokra and Armada this round?

'''Agent 0-AP-0'''
Liquid are declaring war on APC and now LOST,
LOST dont fear liquid as LOST is bigger.

'''Agent 011-N00b'''
Parallel alliances from last round make the
jump to round 5... rumors are more than a dozen parallel alliances
made the jump, mostly under new names... but some, like 2e5, still
displaying old tags in IRC.

'''Agent 009-Snup'''
Clusters struggle to make quick alliances as
role of clusters unsure in Round 5. Most agree: no back-door attacks
eta 5-6 for them. They want peace at home. Except for those attractive
broken galaxies that didn't want to merge.... yum. Where will the
roids come from? Look around, everybody is hot! The paid version of
PA got rid of inactives, we came to play this round. Hold on to your
hats! Some clusters thrown head-to-head with major alliances side
by side, others peaceful with no big-alliance threats. Which clusters
will allow c alliances to work without big alliance domination and
splits? How many questions can I pose before Guardian cuts me o

'''Agent 006-Wsup'''
Never have the big alliances been more prepared
for a round to start. What will that mean? Will we see new alliances
forming this round? Major battles from the starting gun? Furgion once
again united to go after common foes, look for an early knock-out
blow attempt. Could result in independents being left alone... or
farmed into extinction early.
