	The first round of Planetarion began on the 1st of February 2000. At this stage all [[galaxies]] consisted of 25 [[planet]]s filled up sequentially via sign-ups. The first [[alliance]]s formed were based around [[cluster]]s, which at that point contained 50 galaxies each, thereby becoming known as [[cluster alliance]]s. Some of these cluster alliances went on to form the most famous alliances in the game, notably [[The 17th Legion]], based in cluster 17, which went on to become [[Legion]] and [[c7R]], based in cluster 7, which went on to become [[Fury]]. Another powerful alliance at the time was [[Rinoa's Eclipse]], although largely they had risen to this point via staying out of the way of Concordium. The end of the round was put off a number of times by [[PACrew]] and this led to vast swathes of the universe suiciding their fleets on the top galaxies, primarily Concordium ones.
