MadCows was a community of Planetarion players dating back to round 3, when it started as a cooperation between two galaxies. It expanded as a community until round 8, when it became an "official" alliance. This change proved to be unsuccesful, and MadCows has since returned to community status.
In MadCows second round as a full alliance it was part of the unsuccessful VVOMM block. Heavy recruitment pre-round expanding the alliance coupled with the severe pressure the alliance came under externally led to the effective collapse of MadCows as an alliance.
