A superpower is an alliance that is considered to be powerful enough to dominate the game if given the chance. Typically, these alliances lead their relevant blocks or affect the game in some major fashion. Some alliances remain superpowers throughout their existance, whilst others only attain this status for a round or two.
Examples of superpower alliances include:
