ViruS was an alliance from Round 3 to Round 10, led at its beginning (mostly) by Irvine. ViruS had its origins in XFA in Round 1 and Round 2 when a bunch of smaller alliances such as DPA merged with XFA to create the UXF. UXF was bloated in numbers and its founders decided to cutback and make a smaller more elite alliance. A filtering process was done and the new revamped UXF was renamed to ViruS. Soon after though, the leaders of ViruS didn't like what they had created and, leaving Irvine in charge, they split off to make the legendary Xanadu.
