Travel time is the number of ticks taken to travel to or return from a target. It is also known as ETA. Travel time can be reduced by researching the appropriate branch.

The return ETA is calculated by the original ETA minus one. This is because the initial ETA is where your fleet is still at home preparing to launch, but once launched will take the same time to return.

ETA also differs between; classes, destinations and targets - defence to planets in your alliance are 1 tick faster as your crews know to scramble to an alliancemate's aid.

Travel Time in Planetarion is listed below:

  • Galaxy ETA: 5 Ticks (all Classes)
  • Cluster/Alliance ETA: 7 For FI/CO ; 8 FR/DE ; 9 CR/BA see Ship Class
  • Univeral ETA: 8 for FI/CO ; 9 FR/DE ; 10 CR/BA (Note, this is the ETA that shows when you hit the "Launch" button on the Missions page. Once launched (the following tick), these fleets are obviously one less, and it is then when they are displayed on the Galaxy Status and the Target is notified of the launch.
