VNC

Virtual Network Computing is what VNC stands for. its a server/client program which allows the client to connect to the server and over-take the server's desktop. This can be very useful for planetarion as it allows other users to take over a certain persons desktop and control his planet. Though its not allowed to share accounts its an easy and safer way to conduct this way of cheating.

Often VNC's planets are scanners. It is very useful to have for a restricted group of people a personal scan planet. Though VNC is easy detectable as it leaves normally port 5900 open. A smarter way to use vnc is by let it connect on a different port like 21 which is less suspicious. Or another solution is to setup a ssh-tunnel so the traffic is encrypted and less easy to detect.
