PAN stands for "Planetarion: Next". PAN is a new form of Planetarion that will be introduced after [[round 15]]. As with the introduction of [[PAX]] in [[Round 10]], there will be a short, free round with the old code before the new set is introduced. There WILL be a [[Havoc]] round after the conclusion of round 15, like usual.

#Opportunity to rewrite and smooth out code. The current code is, in many ways, "patched" with added features/bug fixes. Also, the new code will be in a language that [[Kloopy]], [[PA Team|PA team's]] head coder, likes better.
#Opportunity to design a sharper-looking user interface.
#A chance to implement feature suggestions that have accumulated over the last two rounds
 
Overall, PAN aims to bring the game 'up-to-date', and increase the playerbase. (which has the intention of making more money for [[Jolt]]).
