The interceptor was the smallest ship in Planetarion, back in the early rounds, but does not exist anymore. Interceptors cost only a small amount of metal, with no crystal or eonium cost. It was the first ship that could be built without research. (See the Shipstats for further details regarding the ship capability during certain rounds.)
This article refers to a ship from a previous round of Planetarion and may not apply to the current game.
