NewDawn has played every round of Planetarion and has often been represented in top blocks and alliance rankings. It was founded in round 1 by Sith, Stew and Stez. New Dawn's philosophy is "fun first" and they play the game with that idea first and foremost in their sights. This has contributed to a strong and active community.

NewDawn is one of the oldest of all the alliances. Many members from the very early days of NewDawn still remain.
