Lemming run

A lemming run is a large attack on a planet (often suicidal), where the attackers do not pull no matter what. The term comes from the fact that this "tactic" was traditionally employed by hirr, an alliance which used lemmings as their mascot.

One well-known and large-scale lemming run is Revolt, purportedly organised by Forest in round 5. In this mass attack on Fury and Legion, many thousands of ships were launched at planets known to be members of said alliances, but most if not all of these attacks were defended to oblivion. The same thing was attempted in round 12, but failed most excessively.
