Cathaar

Cathaar is by many considered a defensive race, with its strength lying in the power of their EMP based ships. Despite this, Cathaar's often colorful combination of different shipclasses has been known to rip through the defences of enemy Xandtathrii, Zikonian and even Cathaar planets. Only the Terran race seems able to withstand the massive assaults of the Cathaar cruisers and their support classes.
