Ship class

In all rounds of Planetarion there have been six ship classes (except in Round 10 where there were no corvettes or destroyers). A ship class is a categorisation of a group of ships that may be built when a certain technology has been researched. They also indicate what travel time a ship has.
- Fighter (FI)
- Corvette (CO)
- Frigate (FR)
- Destroyer (DE)
- Cruiser (CR)
- Battleship (BA or BS)
The parentheses contain common abbreviations of the ship classes.
