Eitraides

Eitraides is a race that was added to Planetarion in Round 20.

Lore

The Eitrades are a scavenger race that is derived from a single race that split two ways. One half became the Eitraides, one half became the Terrans. The Eitraides wanted further involvement in the universe, while the Terrans were afraid to go voyaging in the unknown. After a brief civil war, the Terrans banished them from the home planet. Without a home planet and no means of living, the Eitraides became proficient traders. They travel from planet to planet, taking advantage of the technologies of all other races.

History

During the first two rounds Eitraides was a vastly superior race to the other four, which earned it the nickname Wintraides. Since then the race has been balanced out correctly.

Ships

Since its inception, Eitraides ships have used a combination of the abilities of all four races, except in round 26 and 27, in which they were made up of purely cloaked and EMP ships.
