Spider

A member of the Fighter class, this ship was the very first EMP vessel ever produced. Using an experimental Crystal only compound, the craft was designed to be purely unmanned, and operated by remote control back in the Planetary Defence structure. Very light, and extremely agile, this vessel is in effect a Pulse Cannon on thrusters that uses the latest targeting systems to seek and paralyse its prey during conflict. The Crystal based pulse cannon, emits a very narrow beam, making the craft only effective at close range. This however highlights the problem of the ship having a very small armour class making it extremely vulnerable to any attacker.
