Urwins
Origin
A battlegroup which was formed in round 5 by Yogibear and Adam though its origins can be found in round 4 where many of the members who were to later form the core galaxy, found themselves situated in parallel 22.
It was named after one of their galaxy members, Urwin, who was prone to mess up a lot, especially suiciding his fleet. So in honour of this, and the fact most members seemed to by copying him on a regular basis, the battlegroup was named after him.
The groups most successful rounds were round 7 where one galaxy finished third (7:13) with two top 10 players in Argon and Glimmer. The other possibility is round 10.5 where the galaxy came first (22:8) and there were four top 10 players in Yogibear, Adam, Dreamy and Kefalos, though this bore the least resemblance to any other Urwin galaxy due to most members retiring after round 7 and the victory was considered to be a bit of a letdown due to the ease with which is was achieved. The flagship ViruS galaxy was also always in this battlegroup
Urwins was later reformed as an alliance by Yogibear, Adam and Dreamy for Round 24, they were one of three alliances competing for the round victory in Round 24 but ended up coming 3rd. They continued on for Round 25 and came 3rd again. Following this they disbanded as an alliance but a large core would continue on to form Denial who would win round 27.

History
Round 5
The name Urwins was first introduced in round 5. In galaxy 9:21, there was a guy called Urwin that was a great inspiration to his fellow galaxy members. His suicide attacks, his oversleeping on launchtimes, and his total ignorance about game stats became quite legendary (inside the galaxy). After a while people started to follow his strategy and everytime something like that happened they got called "Urwin" and they started giving out Urwin awards. A little later kombi made an Urwins Inside logo, which was used as galaxy picture, the people inside became known as the Urwins.
Urwins has always had his major roots in ViruS with a mix of Fury and Legion. The galaxy were also members of T&P. In round 5 this meant they were on the winning side even through all their Urwin activities. Probably the biggest threat in that round did not come from the official enemy, but from cluster neighbour galaxy 9:24, which was filled with high ranking Fury and Legion members, who did not really like the fact they were getting their ass kicked by the bunch of idiots in 9:21.

Round 6
In Round 6 the core group of people from the origional Urwin gal in round 5 merged with the top players of the galaxy "Ain't no Mountain High enough" to form the galaxy 2:21. Being part of the Thieves & Pirates battlegroup they were one of the last galaxies to survive the war to the much bigger powerblock. After that powerblock fell, they quickly fought their way back into the upper regions of the Universe by the attacking top planets - with the entire galaxy.
The people in 2:21 were: Adam, Yogibear, kombi, Biggie, Spoticus, Gabz0r, Glimmer, `Spider, Riku, Ankka, Bombom, Reese, Carson, Fletcher, York, Lys, Mist, Sera, bugsbunny, badmotor, banshee,ziffynet and cypher79.

Round 7
Round 7 was one of the most succesful rounds for the Urwins. Being stuck in galaxy 7:13, in a cluster with only one allied galaxy (7:12) proved to be not that bad after all. Being one of the most attacking galaxies in the universe, the entire cluster got roided and so did most of the rest of the universe. The galaxy ended as #3, being knocked from the #1 spot only 30 minutes before the end of the round due to a member being deleted for cheating. There were two top10 planets, and 12 players were in the top250.
The people in 7:13 were: Adam, Yogibear, kombi, Biggie, Spoticus, Gabz0r, Glimmer, `Spider, Riku, Ankka, Argon, Fletcher, Nanomatrix, Hallava, Ladybug and Fishy.

After round 7 a lot of the core Urwins retired. But in round 10.5 a small part of Urwins returned in a somewhat modified form and ended as #1 galaxy.
