The Strategy Forum is the place to go to contribute discussion about which ships and/or tactics are best, in what combinations and against what opponents. If you don't know this, then it's also a good place to find it out. Now moderated by Ultimate Newbie (Sovereign) and at0mic.c0w, the Strategy forum isn't as active as it once was. Some would say this is because strategy left the game a long time ago... It used to be moderated by Tactitus (somewhat of a legend in PA) and riposte, back in the good old days.
Nevertheless, the Strategy Forum is still a major resource for all Planetarion players as it is the definative place to; discuss each race's ideal fleet combinations; to discuss the best way(s) to start your planet through optimising Engineering, Research, Construction and other settings; discuss and refine Ship Stats; identify and explain the huge variety of Tactics in Planetarion; and also to help New Players with getting a feel for the game.
