Defend

A Mission which can be assigned to a Fleet from the Missions page in-game. A fleet set to defend will attempt to protect its target Planet from any Incoming hostile fleets that land on the same Tick. If any ships are destroyed in the ensuing Combat then defending fleets may gain some Salvage.

In organised Alliances, Defense Commanders or other Military Officers will usually organise defense for its members. Some may have Bots on IRC to relay Defense calls to these officers.
