Round 15 was played from Oct, 28th - Dec, 3rd 2005.
Round Summary
It was won by eXilition. This round was one of the most closely contested rounds in the PAX era. From the start eXilition and 1up engaged in an intense war. Although eXilition appeared superior in the early stages of the round, due to losing more roids while being involved in a war eXilition were unable to prevent Angels from moving ahead of them. A fluid conflict then developed involving between the various engaged alliances, with eXilition backed up by the smaller alliances Vengeance and Subh and Angels frequently co-operating with 1up while NewDawn were able to take advantage of this situation to become roid-fat and rise to the #1 ranking. Eventually as eXilition were able to defeat 1up and Angels they switched to NewDawn in an attempt to become #1 with only a short amount of time remaining. Thanks to higher activity, superior fleet combinations for the round with high numbers of Xandathrii planets and the benefits of landing on the roid-fat NewDawn planets eXilition managed to claim their second round victory.
