Round 20
A short 7 week round where 2 new alliances entered the fold, namely Destiny and Conspiracy Theory. Alongside these two, Vengeance were re-energised by the inclusion of the gosu battlegroup. The round went on with the #1 alliance rank being swapped around until Conspiracy Theory fully tagged in around tick 700. Conspiracy Theory maintained a narrow margin over VGN and Destiny until the last week where Destiny and Vengeance both caved in over a destructive battle over the #1 planet rank. Amusingly, Ascendancy went onto take charge by holding the top 4 planets as well as having the most planets of an alliance in the top 100. Conspiracy Theory achieved a narrow win for their first round. Destiny discontinue after this round, and Omen announce their retirement also.
