Round 32

Apprime was started in round 32 by elviz and Cardinal, both taking with them a respectable number of experienced players from different alliances. Their initial goal was to build a dominating alliance, by taking advantage of its experienced memberbase. They quickly dominated the rankings, and their fortress galaxies had proven to be unhittable by one alliance alone. This was a direct outcome of Apprime's persistant work on covering all incomings at all costs. Eventually it reached the point where no alliance targeted Apprime, because it was impossible to land on their planets. Apprime then had the luxury of not getting hostile incoming fleets, and could focus all firepower on attacking. Apprime grew at such a rate, that it was obvious they would be impossible to stop if no action was taken. Around tick 450, a block was formed, involving alliances such as Ascendancy, Newdawn, Conspiracy Theory, P3nguins, Easy Company and at times Violent Realm. Only Rock sided with Apprime, although they played their own game most of the round.

The block started a huge offensive on Apprime, and due to the block agreements, this also meant Apprime would get no in galaxy defense from either of the alliances. Apprime were fighting with their claws to maintain its lead, but against extremely unfavorable odds, they were slowly losing roids, and their memberbase was getting worn out by being online at night to cover incomings. Eventually, Conspiracy Theory and P3nguins passed Apprime. However Apprime had maintained decent value, thanks to salvage from a number of crashing fleets of the opposition.

Around tick 650, with Apprime on third place, Ascendancy left the block, followed by Violent Realm and Newdawn around tick 850. It quickly turned out to be very hard for the remaining alliances to target Apprime without crashing. Apprime now had little incomings, mostly thanks to having 20,000 less roids then the two alliances above. Because of this, Apprime could now focus on taking down its competition for #1 alliance. Ascendancy, being content with securing a number of Top planets in the war, assisted Apprime in its targeting for a short period. Apprime managed to grow extremely fast, quickly closing the gap. Conspiracy Theory, P3nguins and Newdawn tried a last offensive, but were unable to effectively target Apprime for more then a few days before giving up again. With this, Apprime maintained a steady growth and could secure the Alliance win, despite a few planet closures in the end.

Apprime had proven itself, against extremely unfavorable odds they had managed to hold up on their own, mostly thanks to superior defense efficiency. However, the alliance win was expensive. Their memberbase was exhausted from the effort it took to secure this win, and would walk into round 33 weakened.

Round 33

Apprime were considered to be a competitor for alliance win in round 33 , and quickly got a lead on the others. Again Apprime were in a position where they needed to prove themselves, but being in a terrible condition, they did not handle the incs as well as the previous round. Later this round, they were forced to fight Ascendancy for the alliance win, but Ascendancy proved to be much more rested and fit for fight. In the end, Apprime backed off from the competition and focused on preparing for round 34.

Round 34

Initially undersized Apprime concentrated themselves in core galaxies which became roid-fat early on. The difficulty of roiding these galaxies separately led to a simultaneous attack by a number of alliances on all Apprime galaxies, resulting in heavy roid loss. Despite this roid loss, and further losses at points throughout the round Apprime were able to move steadily up the ranks and, allied to Ascendancy and VisioN, they moved into the #1 spot towards the end of the round, a position which they held until ticks stopped.

Round 35

After a large number of Ascendancy players joined Apprime, Apprime were most people's favourites for the round. Defeating Euphoria early on and managing to held off a block successfully despite not being at their best Apprime were comfortable winners of this round.

Round 36

A smaller Apprime again amassed a large number of roids and placed in various fence galaxies looked difficult to roid. However with various alliances disgruntled with Apprime's actions and comments throughout the round they found themselves heavily hit by almost all the other active alliances in the game, the exception being the allied DLR which led to virtually all their top planets being heavily roided.

Round 37

Apprime entered this round as one of the main contenders but having faced incs from first Osiris early on and later Evo and CT as well, after App joined up a block with Asc and ND, Apprime were unable to gain enough roids to mount an effective challenge for the top spot in the final days of the round. This was also due to ND changing sides and hitting Apprime with the other three opposing alliances for almost a full week some time after the midpoint in the round.
