Phantom

This experimental Fighter class vessel initially caused problems for the War Scientists in Cluster 1. The technology used to form a light refracting surface across a ship's hull was developed quite early on, but the ability to sustain a human life within the confines of such a powerful field of energy was something they had not reckoned with, resulting in the bonding of the human pilot and the ship in horrifying ways. The problem was resolved by making the vessel remote controlled in a similar fashion to that of the Spider. The ship's energy refractors allow the vessel to 'bend light' thus making it almost impossible to detect, But being an experimental model, firepower was not taken into account, and so only 1 gun was fitted. With stealth mode activated the ship has excellent targeting capabilities, the downside to the vessel is the fact that shielding is minimal due to the refracting technology taking up most of the ships hull, but this in turn does make it lighter and more manoeuvrable.
