Production

Production is the page where players can build their Ships at the cost of Resources. This page displays the various Ship Types of the Ships that your given Research level permits you to build, the Ship Attributes of each type, the Cost of each type, and a "build box" for players to input the Quantity you want to Build. If you wish to check costs before ordering, put the ship numbers in the Build box(s) and press the Calculate button. The box next to the Calculate button will then show the cost for the ships you have ordered. This feature is especially handy for players who like to build Round Numbers of ships to keep their fleet neat and tidy. Below the Order Ships button (which you click to purchase your Ships), you will see a Production Que. The Production Que shows what Ship Types are already building and when they will be due, plus a CANCEL THE ORDER button which will refund part of the cost of Production to you. You can have up to FIVE pending orders at any one time. Ships ordered on the same game tick as others will join into the same order.

Sometimes, players may say "I have x amount of ships in Production") and they are refering to the Production Que.

Some Races have race-specific bonuses to reduce their Production time, in addition your Engineering setup and Golden Roids can also reduce your Production time.
