Turtle

Turtle was a PA player from Round 4 to Round 10 he returned at the request of Yogibear and Dreamy to play for Urwins in Round 24.

Round 5 - The first recorded history of Turtle is as a member of a small alliance called Ultra Violence in Round 5, where he joined a galaxy made up of Australian Team Fortress players.

Round 6 - For Round 6 Turtle got invited to join the galaxy of Barrow, a NewDawn HC, and thus fought on the side of FoS as a member of the recruitment wing of Wolfpack. Towards the end of the round he quit Wolfpack, dissatisfied at not being made a full member and joined NoS he had a moderately successful round.

Round 7 - Turtle joined the same galaxy for Round 7 and remained in NoS. Unfortunately the blocks were uneven and the round proved to be a difficult one for everyone in the galaxy with constant incomings and very little chance to grow. Nevertheless he played until the round ended.

Round 8 to Round 10 - Turtle joined ViruS in Round 8 at the invitation of Spoticus who had been a close friend online for a long time, quickly rising to become one of the most active DCs due to his Australian timezone. He rose to the position of HC after the Virus - Seraphim split in Round 9.5. He quit midway through Round 10 due to dissatisfaction at the direction Planetarion was heading in.

Turle was a Retalion battlegroup member whilst in ViruS.

Round 24 - Turtle remained in contact with many of his friends from ViruS such as Adam and Dreamy and when asked to return to play with Urwins in Round 24 he did so. Initially a DC he quickly became an advisor to the HC and was finally made a HC by Yogibear in the last two rounds with the other HC's activity level declining. On a personal level after having an initial tough period as a Cathaar player in a round where Cathaar was very weak he exiled out of his galaxy and ended up in 9:3, the 2nd ranked galaxy. Here Turtle met Ronin who he would become friends with despite being in opposing alliances. Throughout the round they helped each other when they each had large incomings, along with the rest of 9:3, often directly disobeying the orders of their alliance HCs. As a result, Turtle ended up ranked 43rd, one of only 6 Cathaar players in the top 100.

Round 25 - Turtle remained in Urwins for Round 25 as HC, primarily in charge of Defence. Throughout the round Urwins was credited with having far and away the best Defence compared to other alliances, and being the alliance to beat received significant incomings as a result. Turtle teamed up with fellow Urwin HC, Dreamy for their Buddypack. Also invited was Hude from Ascendency. Overall the galaxy was a let down, with many being inactive. The except was Turtle, Dreamy and Hude, but Hude exiled after some rogue Urwin planets attacked him and used structure killers to take out some of his distorters, Hude blamed Dreamy for orchestrating the attack. The remainder of the round was spent playing defensively, holding onto roids against heavy attacks primarily from NewDawn. Turtle had his best round by far and ended up ranked 8th overall and was the highest ranked Terran, once again having picked a race that was quite weak.

Round 26 - Turtle sat out Round 26 due to being burnt out after two hard rounds as an officer and HC in Urwins. He was meant to Buddypack with Ronin and [[Reese] but pulled out at the last minute due to burnout and real life related issues.

Round 27 - Turtle returned for Round 27 as a late starter when asked to play by Mystic a Denial HC who he knew from his days in Urwins in Round 25. Whilst active he picked Terran again which was quite weak once again and a bad race to have late starting. He also joined Denial where many of the Urwins he had led had ended up and struggled to keep his roids due to the heavy ptargetting of Denial all round. He ended up ranked 416th.

Had close friendships with fellow Australian and New Zealand players such as Sera, Kileman, Argon and Spoticus having played other games with them prior to playing Planetarion.
