Description

Structures are the facilities for your planet. You can build more then one of each and they can be destroyed in attacks and covert operations.

Some structures allow you to build a class of ship, others gain you resources the exact function of a construction is written next to it on the page. Constructions gradually cost more and more, the more you build, also there is a limit to how many your planet can support. this limit can be increased via research, and some researches will allow you to build new constructions.

As a default, each construction takes 12 ticks to complete. Since some races are better at constructing then others this may vary. You can also decrease the time required for a construction via your engineers. You can cancel a construction in progress, however you will not get any of the resources you spent on it back if you do so.


Each construction you build will cost more than the last, for example if you have 30 constructions, the next one would cost

 1000 * 30 = 30000 

of each resource type. The first construction is free since

 1000 * 0 = 0

The number of constructions you can have is limited by the constructions research advance. The maximum with all of the technology is 150. Unpaid planets, via the technology limitations, can have only 20 constructions.

Building Types

Light Factory

This enables Production of Fighter and Corvette Ship Class Spacecraft. Having multiple factories will not help in any way, apart from redundancy if any are destroyed. You need to research Fighter Class Hulls for this construction to be operational.

Medium Factory

This enables Production of Frigate and Destroyer Ship Class Spacecraft. Having multiple factories will not help in any way, apart from redundancy if any are destroyed. You need to research Frigate Class Hulls for this construction to be operational.

Heavy Factory

This enables Production of Cruiser and Battleship Ship Class Spacecraft. Having multiple factories will not help in any way, apart from redundancy if any of them are destoyed. You need to research Siege Weapons for this construction to be operational.

Wave Amplifier

This increases the strength of your waves making them more likely to succeed and allows you to scan targets with more Wave Distorters.

Wave Distorter

This decreases the strength of incoming waves making them less likely to succeed. If you have 5 Distorters, you can not be scanned by people with 4, or less, Amplifiers.

Metal Refinery

Each Metal Refinery will extract 1000 units of metal per tick.

Crystal Refinery

Each Crystal Refinery will extract 1000 units of crystal per tick.

Eonium Refinery

Each Eonium Refinery will extract 1000 units of eonium per tick.

Research Laboratory

These increase the efficiency of your research by a percentage decided by your ratio of Research Labs / Total Constructions. Maximum bonus is reached at 20 %, which you can obtain by having 2 Research Laboratories for every 10 Constructions.

Finance Centre

Finance Centers will optimize the resource-flow, adding 0.5% to your income per Finance Centre. Although there are no limits to the number of Finance Centres you can build they stop having an effect after you have 60 of them.

Security Center

Security Centres help against hostile Covert Operations, raising your normal alert level.

Total immunity from covert operations is possible with 30% of your buildings as security centres and with your 1st Engineering Priority as Security.
