What is a Battle Calculator?

A battle calculator is a tool used to calculate the outcome of a Planetarion battle given the details of that battle, like ships, roids and structures.

The History of Battle Calculators

The first public web-based battle calculator was written by Joror, and then later updated by Gnome King. Introducing PaX, those battle calulators where no longer usable, and a new one was written by Blazde based on the originals by the above two.

Current Battlecalculators (R15)

There are a selection of community built, run, and maintained battlecalcutors available for public use. Sovereign maintains a list of them in the Useful Links thread on the Strategy Forum.
