Round 53 signups opened Friday, 2nd August at 20:00 GMT and the round started Friday 6th September 2013

Below are the major changes for Round 35:
To mark the new beginning of Planetarion, we are announcing a galaxy banner and graphics competition. There will be two categories:
* New alliance attack page
* Added new alliance scan request system
* Notifications now paid only
* Buddy pack limit now 3
* Single target ship statistics
* Allianceless planets get a reduced tax rate on the universal exchange (now up to 10% rather than up to 25%).
* 1 Selfexile every 3 ticks
* 1 Late join for gals with 3 BP members, 2 for gals with 2 BP members (exiling 1 out of a gal with 3 BP members does NOT give 2 late joins)
* Upgrade bonuses increased, base rates doubled, smaller increase of the per tick gain


For this round we are also trialling the following changes:
Galaxy Banner
* A planet in an alliance can only be defended by other members of the alliance or his galaxy
We are looking to replace the replace the default galaxy banner image. The images must be 500 pixels wide by 375 high. The winning entry will see his logo as the default galaxy banner next round.
* Cluster ETA bonus for defence removed.


Alliance limits will stay the same, 70 maximum with 60 counting towards the alliance score.
Graphics
We are looking for graphics to use on our Facebook page, and also for use of advertising.
 
Competition details
-The entries will be judged by the PA Team.
-The graphics must be original, and Planetarion-related.
-The submission needs to include the original source file (PSD or similar), in case we need to modify the graphics in the future.
-You must be willing to assign copyright to us.
-Credits will be awarded for the top 3 entries as follows:
First Place: 3 credits
Second Place: 2 credits
Third Place: 1 credit
 
Please email your entries to [email protected] with your entries, including "Banner" or "Graphics" in the subject line. Multiple entries are allowed.
The competition is open until Friday, 18th October, so get designing!
