<b>Dates</b>
To mark the new beginning of Planetarion, we are announcing a galaxy banner and graphics competition. There will be two categories:
Ticks start: Friday 28th May 20:00 GMT<br>
Shuffle: Saturday 29th May 07:00 GMT<br>
Round End: Friday 16th July 20:00 GMT<br>


<b>Galaxy Setup</b>
Galaxy Banner
We are looking to replace the replace the default galaxy banner image. The images must be 500 pixels wide by 375 high. The winning entry will see his logo as the default galaxy banner next round.


Buddy packs of up to 8 will be shuffled to create "private" galaxies with approximately 8 players in them<br>
Graphics
Random galaxies will be created from all non-buddy packed planets. They will all have at least 13 planets in them. All self exiles, galaxy exiles and signups land here.<br>
We are looking for graphics to use on our Facebook page, and also for use of advertising.
Random galaxies have 1 late signup member each after tick 336.<br>
Private galaxies are allowed late signups whenever they have fewer than 8 players in their galaxy after tick 336.


<b>Alliances</b>
Competition details
-The entries will be judged by the PA Team.
-The graphics must be original, and Planetarion-related.
-The submission needs to include the original source file (PSD or similar), in case we need to modify the graphics in the future.
-You must be willing to assign copyright to us.
-Credits will be awarded for the top 3 entries as follows:
First Place: 3 credits
Second Place: 2 credits
Third Place: 1 credit


The maximum amount of members allowed in an alliance will be kept at 100 members.<br>
Please email your entries to [email protected] with your entries, including "Banner" or "Graphics" in the subject line. Multiple entries are allowed.
The amount of members that count towards an alliance score will be dropped to 50.<br>
The competition is open until Friday, 18th October, so get designing!
The combined total amount of members that two merging alliances have to have whilst merging is 60.
 
 
<b>Other Changes finalised so far:</b>
 
-Added new 'Feed' list - highlights huge battles and interesting rank changes during the round, accessible through the universe page<br>
-Planet log available in the journal page - accurate log of all planet activities from during the round<br>
-Optimised alliance scans in the alliance defence / attack pages to reduce load issues experienced last round
