SPECIAL NOTES ABOUT THE SHIPS

Ships
Special Description
Phantom, Ghost

These ships are cloaked, and have special benefits.
They are not discovered, seen or counted by any scans except for the Military Scan
When a planet receives his message that he has X incoming enemy ships, this number does not include the Cloaked ships.
They have a good initiative, shooting first among the ships in combat.

Note: These ships have NO special advantage in combat, like the Stealth Fighter had last round.

Spider, Tarantula

These ships can not kill any ships. All they do is use their EMP-based weapons to "freeze" or hold enemy ships, so they can not fire at your ships. A handy addition in any fleet, which will help minimize losses.

These ships do not target like other ships either. The do not tagret classes, but directly on shiptypes. Each of these have 4 valid targets, and if no ships are present of these types, it can not EMP anything.

Spider targets: Interceptors, Torpedoes, Astro Pods and Thieves
Tarantula tagrets: Destroyers, Pirates, Cruisers and War Frigates

Thief, Pirate

These ships do not

     kill enemy ships, they attempt to steal them. In the battle calculation, 
     these ships will "do damage" equal to the GunPwr listed in the stats, but 
     in stead of killing a ship, it will take control of it, and make it ready 
     to fight in your fleet in the next tick! The Thief aims for smaller ships, 
the Pirate aims for the bigger.

Dagger

The dagger is a

     special Fighter unit, which is almost 100% Emp resistant. It is also an 
     excellent Fighter in all ways, with the best Agility of all the 
ships.

Cargoship

Each cargo ship will

     attempt to steal resources from the Target's asteroids. Each Cargoship can 
     steal 250 resources, exactly the same amount that each Asteroid produces 
     every tick. Its chance to succeed is based on the amount of defense per 
asteroid it will meet.

Astropod

This special ship

     attempts to hijack an opponents asteroids and transmat them 
     through the jumpgate and to the attacker's planet. Its chance to succeed 
     is based on the amount of defense per asteroid it will meet.
